Three conferences I plan to attend this year:
Business Boutique One-Day Event in AtlantaI did not attend this due to me being burned out and needed a day of rest.Focused Blogging Conference(I’m actually a mentor this year!)- FinCon 17 ***Update…so sad news. I won’t be attending FinCon this year. It’s my favorite conference but this is one of those moments where you have to choose family over work so even though I’m bummed, I’m happy that I get to bless my family in the current crazy season we’re in. 🙂

Work out 2x a week using these free videos. I’ve changed this goal to the below.
Complete all weekly exercises in the Body Boss program – so I did this consistently for 12 weeks straight but I’ve had to put this on the back burner while we get into our back-to-school routine. Hoping to pick this back up in a couple of months.
Complete Crystal’s 15 Days to a Healthier You Challenge Done.
I’m spending the rest of this year honing my French speaking skills. Didn’t make great progress with this one this month…
🎉 Exciting news is that we made the first page of MSN a few weeks ago – funny thing is that we didn’t know it until our neighbor walked over and told us. You can read the post that was on the first page here.
2017 Marriage Goals
Write one love note to Pat every month. Done.
Spend one hour every day with just Pat. Done.

2017 Mothering Goals
Take my children on a fun outing once-a-month (We went camping! )
What Charlotte and I do all day long….
Set aside dedicated time for help with schoolwork and arts/crafts Wasn’t super consistent with this one but we’re getting better at managing homework and fun stuff.
2017 Spiritual Goals
I did really great last year with my spiritual goals so I’m not setting any crazy goals for this year. 🙂
Pray 3x a Day Totally failed at this one…
✔️ Complete 3 Bible Studies outside of the Women’s Bible Study Group at church. Just finished my 3rd one!
Conner making his Godfather (my brother) birthday card. He was deployed this month so we made him a care package for his birthday.
2017 Financial Goals
Pay off mortgage by 12/31/17.
- Balance in December 2016: $27,938.08
- Current balance: $19,826.08 (FINALLY!!! We made it below $20K!!!!) 🎉
Save to replace roof by May 2017. We decided that we’re scratching this goal until after we get our house paid off.
Savings goal: $4,000Current balance: $1,000
