Frugal Fresh Start by Stephanie Jones – If you follow Six Figures Under, then you probably already know just how amazing Stephanie is, but if you don’t follow her, you should be. 🙂 In this book she walks you through a 28 day challenge to get your budget in order and to start fresh with all your frugal savviness. There were several things in this book that I had never even thought of!
How are you doing with your goals so far this year?
I’ve done pretty well on our goals so far! I’ve finally gotten into the habit of regular exercise. We saved some money for retirement and travel. Our budget got a little out of hand, so there’s still room for improvement!
Thanks for this post! I look forward to your goals every month 🙂 And I’m in awe of your mortgage balance.
Hey, great goals. I really hope you reach all of them! I don’t know how you keep track of so many things though. I try to focus on 2 or 3 big things and kind of hope the other things just fall in line.
I always enjoy reading your goals. Nice work on your live radio appearance! I would be so nervous for something like that. 🙂 I’m sure you rocked it.
Charlotte is such a doll! Enjoy your weekend, Jessi.
I’m a weird one who loves public speaking. I’ve been on TV a couple of times, on the radio a number of times (mainly on our local Christian radio station for Bible trivia wins!)This has all been personally, nothing to do with my blog — I was interviewed about my dad’s death with about 10 minutes warning. (He was a volunteer fireman for 50 years.) My best tip is to just try to pretend the camera is a person and do you best to interact with it. If you are on the radio, just forget you are talking on the radio and focus your attention to the person talking to you. If you can interact and be friendly with the person conducting the interview, it will come across well through whatever media as well.
Congrats on your radio appearance!!
I hope everyone is healthy and feeling well.
I love your goals posts Jessi! It’s so fun and inspiring to see what you’re doing in all the different areas of life. Congrats on the radio appearance! Sorry to hear about the crazy medical stuff. 🙁 Thanks for sharing my book! 🙂 Oh, and Charlotte is adorable! Love the cheeks!
Of course Stephanie – I loved your book! 🙂 And I keep trying to convince my husband to try YNAB — hopefully I’ll wear him down soon! 🙂
